Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), The Council of Trust For The Indigenous People, an agency under the purview of the Ministry of Rural And Regional Development, was established on March 1, 1966 under the Parliament Act as a statutory body as a result of the first Bumiputera Economic Congress resolution in the previous year. It has become the duty of the Council to develop, encourage, facilitate as well to carry out economic and social development in the federation and in particular the rural areas.

• Do not smoke, chew gum, or eat garlic beforehand.
• Wear suitable interview clothes.

• Always greet the interviewer by his/her last name and try to pronounce it correctly.

• Always conduct yourself professionally and if something beyond your control occurs, show a sense of humor.

• Answer the interview question by more than a simple yes or no but try not to go over the 60 second limit.

• Do not answer questions about politics or religion if the job is completely unrelated.
